SunOpta Appoints Former PepsiCo Exec to Senior Sales Role

SunOpta has appointed Jen Caro as senior vice president of sales. She will also serve as a member of the company’s senior leadership team.

With more than 18 years of experience as a sales executive, Caro has a track record of success across blue-chip companies, family-owned businesses and private equity-backed organizations.

Most recently, she served as president of innovation and commercial development for Dessert Holdings, a St. Paul, Minn.-based premium dessert company that provides scratch-made desserts at scale. Prior to that, she worked for Steven Charles, an Aurora, Co.-based company that supplies desserts to foodservice outlets, hospitality, retail, and in-store bakeries.

Caro also spent 15 years at PepsiCo, where she held several roles, most recently serving as senior director of retail sales.
