For the five-week period ending April 6, sales were $25.51 billion, an increase of 8.6% over March of 2024. Net sales for the first 31 weeks of the company’s fiscal year grew 8.3% to $158.87 billion.

Monthly comparable store sales excluding the impact of gas price and foreign exchange were up 9.1% company-wide. By geographic segment, comp store sales were up 8.7% in the U.S., up 10.6% in Canada, and up 9.9% internationally. E-commerce comps were up 17.5%.

Company officials said March had an additional shopping day versus last year, due to the calendar shift of Easter. This positively impacted total and comparable sales by approximately one and one-half percent.
