Stop & Shop touts apple, pumpkin limited-time products
Fall is underway and Stop & Shop is the latest retailer to share its own brand, seasonal pumpkin- and apple-flavored products for a limited time.
The Ahold Delhaize USA banner with more than 400 stores has rolled out the private brand items under its Limited Time Original collection, which features seasonal products that pop in annually and go away after a few weeks.
The latest food and nonfood items will be stamped with a Limited Time Original logo and be branded as part of the Fall Favorites collection. Additionally, certain store brand offerings, including items from the retailer's Taste of Inspirations meal line, will be stamped with the logo to show that it's part of the limited run. The items will be available now through late October and range from prepared foods to baked goods, beverages, household items, candles, soaps and more. There are 36 in all.
Stop & Shop called out a few fan favorites available this year such as Pumpkin & Sage Ravioli, a prepared-food dish that includes a mix of roasted pumpkin balanced with ricotta, mozzarella, sage and nutmeg; Apple Cider Donut and Muffin Mix; Cranberry Maple Trail Mix with honey-roasted walnuts and almonds, sweetened dried cranberries, sweetened dried strawberry flavored cranberries, pumpkin kernels and natural maple flavors; and Pumpkin Print Paper Towels.
The Quincy, Mass.-based retailer said the apple- and pumpkin-inspired items are a way for shoppers to “bring the harvest home” at a value price.
