Sprouts Farmers Market continues to grow its presence on the East Coast.

Sprouts Farmers Market will expand its presence in South Central Pennsylvania with the forthcoming opening of a new store in York Country.

According to PennLive.com, the 21,320 square-foot location will call the Crossroads shopping center home. The report cited information from Pomegranate Real Estate, the property management company that runs the strip mall.

Located on the six-lane Route 30 just west of Interstate 83, the shopping center has undergone some renovations recently and is home to Old Navy, PetSmart, and Interiors Home. The store will open in 2024, but a more specific date was not given.

Sprouts’ York location will be close to a handful of other grocers including AldiWeis and Grocery Outlet. The grocer, which currently operates more than 400 stores in 23 states, has two Keystone State stores in Philadelphia.

While the company’s third Pennsylvania store is not yet listed on Sprouts website for stores coming soon, the grocer has revealed plans to open seven stores in the coming months. They include locations in Port Charlotte, Fla.; Burtonsville, Md.; Miami-Coconut Grove, Fla.; Cudahy, Calif.; Bakersfield, Calif.; Victorville, Calif.; and Rockwall, Tex.
