Natural and organic grocer Sprouts Farmers Market has reached a major milestone with the opening of its 400th location.
The new store in Haddon Township, N.J., located at 640 W. Cuthbert Blvd., opened on Sept. 8, and marks the 23rd store opening of the year for Sprouts. Each new store adheres to an new design concept featuring a 23,000-square-foot footprint showcasing a “farmers market experience” with an open layout, "community feel" and produce at the center of the store.
“Following the unveiling of our 399th store just last week in Rialto, Calif. and now, on the opposite coast, our 400th store celebrates its opening in Haddon Township, N.J.,” said Jack Sinclair, chief executive officer at Sprouts. “The expansion not only marks a significant milestone, but also represents our success in offering high quality better-for-you products to our customers coast to coast. To our remarkable teams, loyal customers, and supportive partners, thank you for being integral to this incredible accomplishment.”
As a part of its five-year plan, Sprouts, which carries a wide array of private label products, aims to expand its store count 10% year-over-year. Sprouts currently operates in 23 states.
