Sprouts Farmers Market has a bag of kettle chips flavored with ketchup, mustard and pickle, they’re calling the limited-edition own brand flavor “Burger Toppings” and it's part of a summer launch of items just in time for backyard BBQs.

The Phoenix-based retailer has also introduced Sprouts Aloha BBQ kettle chips, a mix of sweet onion and pineapple flavors, as well as new store brand Italian sodas and a sparkling lemonade that’s packaged in an elegant bottle.

Other summer exclusives from the fresh foods department include a Sprouts Vegan Apple Pie, bulk nuts and snacks like Jamaican Jerk almonds, Piña Colada-flavored nuts and Sprouts S’mores Chocolate Bites.

As a main dish for the grill, Sprouts is introducing 100% grass-fed Angus steaks that are pasture-raised in the United States, without added hormones or antibiotics, ever. Sprouts partnered with Grass Run Farms and their network of trusted family ranchers to offer the exclusive selection of steaks to its health and attribute-focused shoppers. The retailer said it will have a large selection of plant-based items and condiments that have better-for-you ingredients that can fit paleo, keto-friendly, organic or no-sugar diets.

Lastly, the retailer is curating a special selection of produce each month for the summer starting with organic Bing and Rainier cherries this month; Lemon Drops, Hami and Golden Honeydew melons in June; Cotton Candy, Moondrop and Candy Heart grapes in July; and Yellow Donut peaches, Plumsicles, Donut Nectarines and Raspberry Apricots from July through September.

“We’ve been working closely with our farm partners across the country all year to deliver the freshest produce available this summer,” said Scott Neal, chief fresh officer. “So far, this year’s growing conditions have been ideal, providing the impeccable quality and flavor our shoppers are looking for. In addition, we recently opened new produce distribution centers in Colorado and Florida this year which will provide a larger range of affordable organics and locally grown items to the regions.”

Sprouts is open during regular hours on Memorial Day, from 7 a.m.-10 p.m., operating more than 360 stores across 23 states nationwide.

“This summer, as consumers become more comfortable making more frequent outings and socializing, we expect shoppers will spend more time looking for items that best fit their lifestyle and needs," said Jack Sinclair, chief executive officer of Sprouts Farmers Market. "Whether it’s sharing tips on how to pick the freshest produce, or details on the latest healthy and unique items you can't find anywhere else, our stores and team members are committed to making our shopper's grocery trip their best one yet.
