SpartanNash Names Fuel Center, Convenience Store VP

Ryan Speakes joins SpartanNash after spending 16 years at Speedway and 7-Eleven.

Michigan-based food solutions company SpartanNash has named Ryan Speakes as its new VP of Fuel Centers and Convenience Stores.

Speakes fills the position effective immediately and will oversee operations at the company’s 37 fuel centers in addition to its convenience stores, most of which are co-located near a SpartanNash banner grocery store.

Speaks most recently served as market leader of Operations at 7-Eleven. Prior to 7-Eleven, he served as district manager at Speedway, and was eventually promoted to regional leader of Operations. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Administration from Tiffin University.

"Having served in a variety of leadership positions in the fuel center and C-store industry, Ryan brings valuable expertise that we are excited to tap into at SpartanNash."

SpartanNash has banner stores in all 50 states, where the company’s private label products can be found, in addition to distributing products to the District of Columbia, Europe, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Djibouti, South Korea and Japan.
