Simmons Foods Names New Technical Services Senior VP

Marcia Reeves is joining Simmons Foods as its new senior vice president of Technical Services.

Pet food supplier Simmons Foods has named Marcia Reeves as its senior vice president of Technical Services. She will fill the role of the company's current senior vice president of Technical Services, Dr. Craig Bacon, who is retiring in 2026.

Reeves joins Simmons with a track record of leadership in research and development, innovation and technical services across the food industry. She currently serves as vice president of R&D, Innovation and Regulatory at Pilgrim's. Her experience spans product development, packaging engineering, regulatory oversight and innovation marketing. Reeves has an MBA from Colorado State University and holds a degree in Meat Science and a bachelor's degree in Food Science from Oklahoma State University.

"Her expertise, innovative thinking and alignment with Simmons' culture and values make her the perfect fit for this position. Bacon will work closely with Reeves during this period to ensure a seamless transfer of responsibilities.
