Sephora’s beauty makeover at Kohl’s begins
More than 70 Sephora locations are opening inside Kohl’s this month, adding to the online Sephora Collection being made available to consumers, including Sephora own brand and exclusive items like Fenty Beauty and Drunk Elephant.
Kohl’s announced in December the move to have Sephora replace its beauty department, preparing 200 shops to open by fall and reach at least 850 Kohl’s stores by 2023. The original deal between the two retailer came less than a month after Target Corp. announced an in-store partnership with Ulta Beauty.
At Kohls.com/sephora, customers nationwide can shop exclusive products to have items shipped to any store for pickup. Items can be sent to the Sephora shop-in-shop location for one hour or less pickup.
Joining Sephora’s private brand and exclusives will be beauty brands such as Lancôme and Bare Minerals, as well as emerging clean beauty brands like ILIA and Milk Makeup.
The in-store Sephora shop-in-shop concepts occupy more than 2,500 square feet, providing a fully-immersive prestige beauty experience, per Kohl’s, based in . The in-store locations carry more than 125 brands in makeup, skin care, hair care and fragrance.
To further the in-store experience, Sephora-trained Beauty Advisors will be available and eager to provide the excellent customer service Kohl's is known for with the deep beauty expertise, consultations and assistance in product discovery that Sephora clients love.
