Rutters adds cannolis, short ribs to menu
York, Pa.-based convenience store chain Rutter’s said it added beef short ribs and cannolis to its menu of prepared foods.
Said to be tender and fall off the bone, the ribs are slathered with Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce and oven-baked. Each made-to-order rib has 1.7 ounces of meat, and customers may order them in quantities of two, three or four, Rutter’s stated.
Meanwhile, the made-to-order cannolis come in orders of two, and each is filled with fresh cream. The sweet treats come with powdered sugar sprinkled on top, the retailer said.
“We think these items not only taste delicious, but also provide our customers an exceptional value,” said Jerry Weiner, Rutter’s vice president of foodservice. “They’re also a unique item to a c-store menu, and we love giving our customers items they can’t find anywhere else.”
