Rise Baking acquires Brill

The cookies, breads and bakery items company expands its North American reach acquiring branded and private brand producer Brill, part of Baker & Baker Group.

Rise Baking is acquiring North American bakery manufacturer Brill from Baker & Baker Group, part of the RHÔNE Portfolio Co.

Brill and Baker & Baker Group partner with major accounts on private label production as well as produce brands under the names Baker & Baker American Bakery, Goldfrost, Concadoro, Molco and via licensed products with Mondelez and Disney. The focus is on donut, muffin, brownie, cookie, cake, specialty brand and viennoiserie categories.

Rise Baking specializes in premium cookies, cakes, dessert bars, muffins, brownies, artisan breads and flatbreads for the retail in-store bakery departments, foodservice and convenience channels in North America. The company has also become an industry leader in the frozen baked goods market, according to the company.
