Pretzel supplier ups production with second plant

Pretzels Inc., a maker of flavored and stuffed pretzels for private label and under the Harvest Road brand, is investing in a new production facility in Lawrence, Kan.

The 150,000 square-foot plant expands the company’s production to better serve markets in the west and south, increasing capacity across its pretzel production and other snack products. Pretzels Inc. is headquartered in Bluffton, Ind., with a 120-square-foot facility in Plymouth, Ind. The Lawrence plant will be operational in late 2021.

The company manufactures and distributes traditional, peanut butter filled, flavored, seasonal, and gluten-free pretzels, as well as extruded snack products, to leading grocers and national brands. Pretzels Inc. is a portfolio company of the investment firm Peak Rock Capital.
