Continuing with its virtual programming efforts for members and non-members in the private brand industry, the Private Label Manufacturers Association’s International Council has announced two-days of online executive education Oct. 27-28.
The “Executive Education Programme” was first created in 2002 by the International Council in Amsterdam to help manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and trade suppliers enhance their knowledge of the private label process, graduating more than 500 private label managers throughout the program.
The new online edition includes sessions from select faculty as: Tom Stephens, president, Brand Strategy Consultants; Arjan Both, senior vice president, global sourcing packaged food, Walmart; Professor Kitty Koelemeijer, program coordinator center for marketing and supply chain management, Nyenrode Business Universiteit; Steve Mader, e-commerce director, Kantar Consulting; Edgar Elzerman, consultant, ECI; Renate Kenter, senior strategy consultant, De Ruijter Strategie; and Paul Van Der Raad, chief executive officer, Henne Petfood.
Topics in the educational program will touch on private label strategy, e-commerce, product development, generational marketing, packaging and design, scenario planning, and manufacturer and retailer relations.
“In times like these where in-person events are not possible, the Online Executive Education Programme offers the unique opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing with your worldwide peer group within the private label industry,” said Peggy Davies, president, PLMA.
The association is launching a virtual event around its “World of Private Label” international trade show and a week-long virtual show called PLMA Live! Private Label Week for a U.S.-based program in February 2021.
