The Private Label Manufacturers Association has been busy preparing virtual events for the 2021 calendar.
The association announced that the PLMA Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference will be held virtually March 18, 2021, presenting an online program of speakers and group interactive sessions. Topics will explore unlocking the value in the supply chain and creating more collaborative private label partnerships, according to a description that the association posted online and shared in an email announcement.
PLMA just wrapped up its first virtual conference for the World of Private Label international exhibition last week, with an in-person show looking to be held May 18-19, 2021, at the RAI Exhibition Center in Amsterdam. And in less than two months, PLMA will be launching its virtual PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week event.
Store Brands spoke with PLMA President Peggy Davies about the retail challenges amid the pandemic and how retailers and suppliers can connect and do business during the week-long program.
Throughout PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week — slated for Feb 1 through 5, 2021 — private brand manufacturers set up virtual booths for retailers to queue into and learn about new products during video meetings and chat tools. Each day is dedicated to different product categories, and there will be content sessions and more.
Exhibitors and attendees can register to participate in the event here at plweek.com.
