PLMA Launching Store Brands Month

The initiative debuting in January of 2025 is designed to shine a spotlight on the private label brands and products available at retail.

Store Brands Month will kick off in January of 2025.

The Private Label Manufacturers Association will kick off 2025 by debuting Store Brands Month, a new effort to promote private brand products to consumers.

PLMA announced Store Brands Month in an email to members on Thursday, July 25.

The national campaign is designed to drive brand awareness and sales of store brands in food and non-food categories, with association officials saying support from the retailer and supplier communities will be needed to make the month-long effort a success.

PLMA members are able to access additional information about Store Brands Month by visiting the Members Only section of the association’s website. There, members will find a toolkit that offers additional information about the initiative and access to sample promotional materials including logos, videos, suggested in-store and email promotional ideas, social media hashtags, and suggested social media posts.

Additionally, a Store Brands Month informational webinar is scheduled for August 23 where PLMA will provide a complete overview of the program as well as an opportunity to ask questions.
