Petco Unveils Holiday Pet Offerings
After releasing its collection of Halloween items in late August, Petco is unveiling its collection of winter offerings.
The More & Merrier portfolio features more than 500 pet products for the holiday season, including toys, apparel, home decor and seasonal treats for cats, dogs and other small animals. Most items are priced under $19.99.
To celebrate the release of the collection, pet parents can tune into Petco’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. PST for a live social commerce event hosted by celebrities, pet parents and Yummers co-founders Jonathan Van Ness and Antoni Porowski.
“Having our pets by our side as we celebrate the holidays is part of what makes this time of year so magical,” said Amy College, chief merchandising officer at Petco. “We’ve expanded our holiday collection yet again this year to offer a greater assortment of gifts for pets of different types and sizes, and celebrations including Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s, so pet parents can find what they’re looking for at every price point all season long."
Highlights from the collection include affordable gifts like festive tennis balls and a holiday puzzle toy, premium gifts such as the cat teaser Santa and nutcracker toys, fun apparel with custom options and more. The More & Merrier collection also features several outdoor products from Reddy, designed for travel in snow and cold weather. Petco said that nearly 80% of pet parents plan to include their pet in holiday gifting.
