Own brands featured in Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Nordstrom’s own brands are being promoted during its annual Anniversary Sale, Aug. 19-31, with exclusive preview days held for Nordstrom loyalty members beginning Aug. 4. The higher the level of loyalty in the Nordy Club, the earlier advance look at the sale.
Private label brands Treasure & Bond, 1901, Tucker + Tate, BP., Halogen, Zella and Nordstrom Home are offering deals. The annual sale is one of the retailer’s biggest sales of the year bringing in brand-new merchandise, including own brand product, and put on sale for the few weeks in August. The retailer said key trends in the sale this year, in response to customer demand, is a larger assortment of loungewear, activewear and cozy home items.
The items reflect shoppers stuck more at home due to the pandemic. Nordstrom is also adjusting around the pandemic by offering expanded digital services that include:
- A new Anniversary Sale preview site: Starting July 24, customers could preview Anniversary Sale items on Nordstrom.com/Anniversary. New styles arrived daily to build a Wish List and checkout faster when time to shop. This preview experience will feature an interactive and personalized digital shopping experience based on customer shopping history;
- Virtual Styling features: Customers can access the chain’s stylists by booking a virtual styling appointment, browse curated look books, or chat with a stylist within the Nordstrom app;
- More buying features: For customers that may have missed out on purchasing a favorite item, Nordstrom will periodically introduce more merchandise throughout the sale to give customers more selections. Customers can also add items to their Wish List and turn on the feature that notifies them if the item they were looking for has been restocked. Additionally, a new recommendation tray feature will surface similar items on the unavailable item’s product page;
- Curbside pickup: Customers can buy online and opt for curbside pickup.
