Nellson Promotes Supply Chain Leader to Quebec Ops VP

The private label nutrition product manufacturer has tapped Francis Rinfret to lead operations at its Canadian manufacturing facility.

Nellson, a manufacturer of branded and private label nutrition bars and powders, has promoted Francis Rinfret to the position of VP of Operations in Anjou, Canada, as well as client liaison. Rinfret previously served as VP of Global Supply Chain and Client Interface, and will now oversee Nellson’s operations at its manufacturing plant in Montreal.

“It is a pleasure to recognize Francis Rinfret’s contributions to Nellson’s success and announce his promotion to vice president of Anjou Operations and client liaison,” said Jean Filion, CEO of Nellson. “In his previous role as vice president of Global Supply Chain and Client Interface, Francis has been instrumental for many years in refining Nellson’s supply chain systems and process improvements. He also led Nellson’s efforts in developing strong operational ties with key customers in the nutrition/snack bar space. He brings a wealth of industry expertise to this role and has demonstrated outstanding operational leadership that will serve Nellson, as he ventures into managing our largest bar manufacturing facility.”

Rinfret’s career includes more than 15 years of experience in the food industry. He is a graduate in Marketing from Cégep de Saint-Laurent, Canada. Based in Anahiem, Calif., Nellson has production locations in both California and Quebec.
