Nellson names new leaders in key roles

Nellson, a manufacturer of private brand and branded nutritional bar and functional powder solutions, has announced changes to three key executive positions, including a new chief commercial officer.

Bart Child has been promoted to chief commercial officer, overseeing all activities related to revenue generation, including research and development. Child will maintain close ties with key brand partners and is responsible for streamlining Nellson’s product development process. He’s been with Nellson since 2007.

Additionally, Nellson has promoted Martha (Marty) Hudak-Ross to chief quality officer, managing all activities around product quality, food safety and regulatory compliance. Hudak-Ross was originally with the company as director of quality for multiple facilities but left for a stint as the quality control lead at a pet food manufacturer. She returned in 2017 and has upgraded Nellson’s quality and regulatory processes.

Lastly, Ray Collins has been named chief human resource officer, overseeing all human resources, including safety. He’s been with the company since 2015 and has been a driving force in Nellson’s response to the recent coronavirus pandemic.
