Natural Grocers ramps up holiday program
Better-for-you retailer Natural Grocers has a holiday promotion underway, highlighting more than 100 products at deals up to 51% off that make for great gifts and stocking stuffers for the holiday season, and many of its store brands are included.
The annual Holly Deals promotion was given an upgrade, according to the company, with larger savings and a one-stop-shop philosophy to simplify shopping for customers during a hectic season. The retailer posted all of the deals in a digital booklet on its website for shoppers to read through, organized by category and why the items make great gifts, and then to ease the online holiday crunch will have them organized in stores for a one-stop-shopping experience.
The items are available Dec.12-24 and cover small gift ideas, and food for baking and party hosting. Products include herbal skincare products, teas, candy, pet treats and more.
Within the long list, Natural Grocers is promoting some of its own brands like own brand canned olives, five varieties of Natural Grocers Brand chocolate bars, 11 kinds of Natural Grocers Brand Snack Packs and its store brand raw and unfiltered clover honey. Other cooking items include Natural Grocers Brand organic chocolate chips, as well as various organic frozen fruits. The company also is promoting Natural Grocers-branded Hydro Flask stainless steel water bottles.
“2020 has been a hard year for so many people, and we hope this year’s Holly Deals make it a little easier for our communities to bring cheer to everyone in their holiday orbit, whether they are celebrating in person or virtually,” said Natural Grocers co-president Kemper Isely. “We increased the savings on items across multiple departments and made them available for longer, making these good4u products even more affordable. Due to our robust COVID-19-related health and safety protocols, we are able to offer a clean and safe-as-possible shopping environment.”
Additionally, while in stores, Natural Grocers shoppers can donate $1, $5 or $10 at the register through the end of the year to local food banks and Natural Grocers will donate 5 cents every time a customer buys a reusable grocery bag or bring their own reusable bag when shopping.
Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage operates 160 stores in 20 states, a specialty retailer in the natural and organics grocery and health and beauty spaces.
