McLane Company, a supply chain services company, has announced its latest venture. The company has launched JAVAPERKS, a foodservice-at-retail program that offers premium coffee and tea products for private label use.

The new line of products follows McLane’s National Trade Show in October where the company unveiled private label products including bath tissue, charcoal, hand wipes and more. The company buys, sells and delivers over 50,000 different consumer products to nearly 110,000 locations across the U.S.

“We are pleased to deliver innovative solutions, service, and access to resources that help our customers achieve sustained, profitable growth,” said Keith Ross, senior vice president  of corporate merchandising at McLane Company. “Through JAVAPERKS, retailers can offer their customers uniquely branded, high-quality, and great-tasting coffees and teas for their stores."

McLane said that through JAVAPERKS, retailers may access products to rival any coffeehouse, such as coffee, cappuccinos, iced coffee and tea. Retailers may also customize graphics for their coffee bar, countertop units and walls to highlight the JAVAPERKS brand within the store and to provide a branded coffee bar service to retail patrons, with minimal expense.

JAVAPERKS gives McLane a new product market, as hot dispensed beverages make up 14% of all foodservice sales according to S&D Coffee and Tea.
