McLane-owned CVP debuts confectionary line

McLane Co.’s private brand subsidiary, Consumer Value Products (CVP), debuted a new confectionary brand called Divinely Sweet at the McLane National Tradeshow in Nashville this week. Described as “the ultimate on-the-go indulgence,” Divinely Sweet includes milk chocolate peanut butter cups, sea salt caramel chocolate grahams and toasted s’mores chocolate grahams.

Temple, Texas-based McLane also emphasized at the tradeshow that CVP, formerly Salado Sales, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. CVP has 12 brands that include more than 240 products in the candy and snacks, general merchandise, grocery, health and wellness, beauty, automotive and foodservice categories.

“Over the last 25 years, CVP has continued to evolve with the industry by offering new highly attractive innovative products that meet the needs of today’s consumers,” said Teresa Voelter, general manager of CVP, in a statement. “We pay close attention to the industry to stay ahead of trends and offer consumers the products they desire.”
