Department store chain Macy’s has officially released its newest private brand for the home. The Oake lifestyle line is the company’s latest private label offering, and features “mindfully made elements and thoughtfully chosen textures for a luxe yet affordable experience achievable in every home.” Macy’s private label apparel brands have led to recent growth for the company.

The assortment of 107 items has launched and includes bedding sheets, quilts, comforters, duvet, and towels, along with decorative pillows and throws. Inspired by elements in nature, the line has been designed to include select items made from a blend of cotton and TENCEL Lyocell fibers that are made from renewable wood sources and others made of 100% cotton with an Ethicot blend, a recycled cotton made from pre-consumer textile waste. Many of the items are ‘Made in Green’ by OEKO-TEX certified, which ensures that an item is safe from more than 350 harmful substances.

In honor of the launch of Oake, Macy’s donated 50,000 trees to One Tree Planted. These trees will be planted in California to help replenish forest cover that was lost during the wildfires that impacted the state in 2020.

Oake isn’t the only release Macy’s has happening this fall. The company has launched the limited Icons of Style collaboration with five Black designers, the conscious beauty cosmetics and face care guide, and collaborations with Fanatics and NFL star Russell Wilson’s 3BRAND hat collection.
