Lighting company Feit Electric partners with Lynk Labs

Pico Rivera, Calif.-based Feit Electric Co., a maker of private label light bulbs and lighting products, as well as branded lighting products under the Feit Electric name, has announced a partnership with Lynk Labs to develop new products.

Elgin, Ill.-based Lynk Labs is an LED technology manufacturer and patent owner that entered into a license and product development agreement with Feit Electric.

"We are pleased to have a license in and to the broad Lynk Labs patent portfolio,” said Aaron Feit, CEO of Feit Electric. "We look forward to working with Lynk Labs on product development and commercialization."

Lynk Labs has been growing its licensing program and patent portfolio, recently. The products span a large group of categories using LED technology such as filament lamps, LED lamps, replacement tubes, wireless systems with touchscreens, and a lot more.

Lynk Labs settled its first patent litigation with Schneider Electric, Juno Lighting and Acuity Brands back in 2017, which included a license to only a portion of the portfolio.  "This latest license is a significant milestone for Lynk Lab's patent enforcement and licensing program," said Mike Miskin, CEO of Lynk Labs.
