Lidl U.S. is serving up a year’s worth of free Lidl Gelatelli ice cream to three winners in a Twitter contest that celebrates National Ice Cream Day on July 18.

The Twitter contest asks Twitter users and Lidl lovers to post a tweet sharing details of how they eat their favorite Lidl Gelatelli frozen treat or any Lidl own brand ice cream using the hashtag #HowDoYouGelatelli and tagging Lidl U.S. The submission process is open from July 12-17 and the entrants must be following Lidl U.S. on the social network. Then, on National Ice Cream Day, Lidl will name three winners to get a gift card for $335, the value of a year’s worth of Gelatelli ice cream products.

The store brand line includes sorbets, gelatos and other frozen treats, many of which include Rainforest Alliance or Fairtrade-Sourced Cocoa, and are available for less than $5 across Lidl’s U.S. store network that includes 150 stores across nine East Coast states. The global reach for Lidl is 11,200 stores in 32 countries.

The summer contest is looking for creative ways that shoppers enjoy the Lidl store brand.
