Lidl rolls out private brand golf line in U.S.

This month, Lidl introduced its private brand Crivit golf equipment and apparel line to U.S. stores. The line includes golf balls, priced at approximately 80 cents a ball; accessories; apparel; a $99.99 waterproof golf bag; and a push cart priced at less than $70, according to an article on The State.com, a North Carolina news site.  

Lidl’s Crivit brand also includes fitness and cycling items. Although Lidl’s Crivit brand sponsors a pro cycling team, “Lidl has no plans at the moment to pursue sponsorship opportunities in golf,” reported GolfDigest.com.
