Lassonde Industries appoints new leadership

Quebec-based Lassonde Industries has named a new leader of its U.S. subsidiary Lassonde Pappas and Co., one of the largest producers of store brand shelf-stable fruit juices and drinks in the United States.

Vincent Timpano has joined the company as president and chief executive officer of Lassonde Pappas and Co. He will oversee the strategic development and growth for all operating activities of the company, the largest manufacturing and sales subsidiary of juices and ready-to-drink beverages of Lassonde Industries Inc. Overall, Lassonde Industries is a North American leader in ready-to-drink juices and drinks, and the largest producer of fruit and vegetable juices and drinks in Canada.

In the U.S. operation, Timpano will be assisted by Seth French, who is to continue to develop and manage LPC's private label operations, and Howard Veltman, who will now manage all of LPC's national brands.

Timpano comes to the company from executive roles such as president of Coca-Cola Canada, president and CEO of The Minute Maid Company Canada, and president of global coalitions at Aimia Inc.
