Grocery delivery platform Instacart is launching a new back-to-school promotion featuring discounted Instacart+ memberships and tax-free shopping in two major states.

"You've Got This, Parents'' is the company’s biggest back-to-school campaign ever, aiming to help families save amid high food prices. Instacart has reduced its annual Instacart+ subscription fee for new members to $49 for the first year, marking a 50% discount. The promotion begins Aug. 11.

Instacart has also enabled tax-free shopping on eligible back-to-school items for consumers in Texas and New Jersey during those states' official tax-free holidays: Aug. 11-13 and Aug. 26 through Sept. 4, respectively.

"Back-to-school can be a hectic and bittersweet time for parents, and this campaign embodies how Instacart has parents' backs this season," said Instacart CMO Laura Jones. "From Instacart Shoppers who shop with the same care you do to our incredible selection of retailers including Best Buy, Costco, and Dick's Sporting Goods, Instacart makes preparing for school seamless so families have more time to enjoy these last moments of summer together."

As part of the new campaign, Instacart also released two new commercials aimed at highlighting how the marketplace can take the stress out of back-to-school shopping.

“You’ve Got This, Parents” also features CPG brands that have partnered with Instacart for co-marketing. Instacart’s AI-powered 'Ask Instacart' search experience will suggest these brands for easy snacks and meal solutions.

Instacart partners with more than 1,400 national, regional, and local retail banners to facilitate online shopping, delivery and pickup services from more than 80,000 stores across North America.
