Idaho TV station promotes private brands

On Nov. 8, Boise, Idaho-based KIVI-TV, an ABC affiliate, posted an online article with videos titled “What’s the Deal? 3 Incredible Store Brand Savings.”

The article urges consumers to purchase store brand products in the following categories to realize significant savings: kitchen supplies such as lightbulbs, garbage bags and laundry detergent; milk and other kitchen staples; and snacks such as nuts, crackers and granola bars.
