GNC, Shipt partner on same-day delivery
Specialty retailer GNC is working with Shipt to bring same-day delivery of its health-and-wellness products to its shoppers. With the partnership, GNC will offer delivery via Shipt in as little as one hour for any vitamins, supplements, protein bars, beauty and skin care products.
GNC said the partnership will help consumers stick to their wellness goals in the new year.
“The pandemic has really done a number on our bodies — both physically and mentally,” said Josh Burris, president of GNC Holdings. “This year in particular many are finding it difficult to stick to their resolutions. By tapping into the infrastructure Shipt has in place, we can help people re-set their goals and offer our customers same-day delivery as they continue on their wellness journey."
The offering comes as more retailers build out their delivery infrastructure as consumers adopt such services to reduce contact with others amid the pandemic. It also follows the recent introduction of Unbreakable Performance Fueled by GNC, a line of own brand supplements the retailer launched with TV personality and sports reporter Jay Glazer.
Shoppers can order items by using Shipt’s app and selecting GNC, then filling their cart.

Target-owned Shipt said that the GNC partnership is its latest commitment to wellness, which also includes its recently expanded partnership with WellCare that brings grocery delivery to Medicare Advantage members, as well as local partnerships that offer free Shipt memberships to older adults.
