FreshTake Grocery Opens Flagship Store In Georgia

The new store in Augusta features a variety of amenities including a sushi bar, BBQ smokehouse, and beer and wine bar.

FreshTake Grocery has opened its flagship store in Augusta, Ga.

FreshTake Grocery has opened its flagship store in Augusta, Georgia, at 2907 Washington Road. The official Grand Opening celebration will be held on January 30. The store will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The store, founded by fourth-generation grocer Jackson Mitchell, features an array of amenities, including a sushi bar, pizza and pasta counter, BBQ smokehouse, hot food stations, and a full-service Starbucks. Shoppers will also have access to Jackson's Beer and Wine Bar, which features 13 large TVs and a curated selection of beverages, and the Ice Box beer cave, where they can enjoy a wide variety of perfectly chilled beers to go.

"This store was built with our customers in mind—combining a wide range of offerings, outstanding customer service, and innovative features to create something truly special. From weekly ad deals to fresh-cut meats and chef-inspired meals, FreshTake offers everything shoppers need and more."

The store also offers a selection of name-brand items, specialty and organic products, gluten-free options, and private-label brands such as Food Club, Crav'n Flavor, and FreshTake.

Mitchell operates five Little Giant Farmers Market locations in metro Atlanta, in addition to FreshTake Grocery. He was named Clayton County Business of the Year.
