The event includes business conference suites for manufacturers to host private, 25-minute business appointments with trading partners, and will feature educational sessions on the importance of e-commerce, regulatory issues, collaboration between retailers and suppliers, the impacts of COVID-19 on the industry and more.

“Tactically, the industry is challenged by limited supply, labor and transportation assets driving up costs and reducing profits,” Doug Baker, vice president, industry relations, told Store Brands. “Strategically, it’s adapting to new consumer shopping behaviors and values and ensuring programs innovate to meet consumers needs on what they expect of a brand and how and where they want to buy that brand. The Private Brand Summit allows attendees to explore these topics through thought leadership, round table discussions and strategic trading partner meetings.”

Baker recently spoke on a panel at Store Brands inaugural summit, which can be accessed on demand.

Last year, FMI’s private brand summit was held virtually, so the September event is a return to an in-person gathering. For more information and to register, visit here.
