Equator honored for Member’s Mark redesign

Chicago-based brand agency Equator has received a Bronze award in the 2017 Pentawards Worldwide Design competition for its redesign of Sam’s Club’s Members Mark packaging.

"We often get asked what private brands want in terms of pack design, and the answer is simple: a design that lengthens product shelf life and is able to compete with well-known national brands on more than price, while remaining in line with their overarching brand position and values,” said Gary Flynn, managing director at Equator, in a statement. “We understand how building private brand equity creates consumer loyalty. And then of course there's the design. As much as we approach every brief with a strategic head, it's incredible design that is at our heart."
