Independent grocers and retailers continue to serve communities large and small across the United States, and for many, private label assortments continue to play a major role in their success while meeting the needs of shoppers.
Store Brands wants to celebrate the work of independent grocers and retailers across the country. We want to hear from independent operators, whether single-store or multi-store, who did outstanding things over the past 12 months. Honorees will be featured in the June issue of Store Brands.
Now, we’re asking our readers for their help to choose the Top Independents of 2023. Here’s what we need:
- An overview (250 words or less) that highlights how the retailer/grocer has overcome challenges over the past year.
- Information specific to the role private label products play at the retailer. This could include, but not limited to assortment expansion, new product introductions, enhanced marketing efforts focused on private label and how private label products have met the needs of shoppers.
- Insight into future growth plans of the retailer’s/grocer’s private label assortment.
Please include photos of private label assortments in store and an exterior photo of the store.
