Dan Moore heads up Ruler Foods

Ruler Foods, the discount banner of Kroger that sells the chain's store brands Kroger, Simple Truth and Private Selection, has a new leader.

Kroger recently promoted Dan Moore to the position of division leader, Ruler Foods, according to an article in the Cincinnati Business Courier. Moore has been with Kroger for 34 years and will oversee the newly refreshed discount chain with 48 stores in the Midwest. 

For 32 of his years with Kroger, Moore served at Kroger’s Ralph’s Division in Los Angeles before transferring to the Seymour, Ind.-based Ruler Foods. Read the full story here.
