Costco’s Kirkland Signature diapers have been ranked as the most absorbent diaper brand in the U.S.
Issaquah, Wash.-based Costco’s Kirkland Signature diapers have been ranked as the most absorbent diaper brand in the U.S. after being compared to five other brands.
Fox47 News tested The Honest Company, Huggies, Costco’s Kirkland Signature, Aldo’s Little Journey, Luvs and Pampers in order to see which brand seemed the most absorbent. The media outlet poured 2 ounces of liquid in size 5 diapers, waited 30 seconds and then patted the diaper with a paper towel to see which one absorbed more.
The experiment resulted in The Honest Company having absorbed the least while Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand and Huggies did the best. Huggies is made by Kimberly-Clark. Kirkland is reportedly made by the same company, according to Fox47 News.
“I don’t think you have to buy the brand name, personally, I think you can try the different ones, especially if your baby doesn’t have really sensitive skin,” said Dr. Cheryl Saul-Sehy to Fox47 News. “A lot of times, the no name brands are made by the brand names.”
