Costco considering its own chicken plant in Nebraska

According to an April 18 article from Reuters, Issaquah, Wash.-based Costco Wholesale Corp. is considering building a poultry processing plant in Nebraska, giving the club store operator tighter control over its chicken supplies. Reuters notes that Costco sells more than 80 million rotisserie chickens each year.
