The Target Last Mile Delivery extension in Smyrna, Ga. expands access to the retailer's collection of private label products for shoppers in the Atlanta area.
Under Jill Sando's merchandising leadership, Target's owned brand portfolio has reached $30 billion in sales, fueled by creative and inventive products across several categories.
According to the report, SNAP shoppers are less likely to shop at retailers such as Target, Whole Foods and Publix, and instead opt for Walmart, Kroger and club chains.
Officials with the retailer said the effort to offer unique, private brand products positions the company well to face current day economic challenges.
