Chicory, a digital shopper marketing platform for CPG and retail store brands, has named Jason Young to be its president.

Young was the CEO of Crisp Media, a mobile ad platform that was acquired by Quotient. After the acquisition, Young served as chief media and marketing officer for the company.

“I’m pleased to join Chicory at a critical time of growth for the company,” said Young. “Chicory’s innovative media and shoppability solutions that are at the intersection of contextual content and commerce have created significant value for publishers, brands and retailers. The opportunity to help enhance and scale Chicory is an exciting one that I’m thrilled to help lead.”

Additionally, Chicory named Nick Minnick to lead a strategic partnerships team for the company, formerly Chicory’s director of retailer development. In the role, Minnick will look to grow the company’s retailer and publisher partnerships to build out stronger retailer-based recipe networks.
