Chewy has launched its Get Real line of minimally processed fresh dog food.

Chewy has launched a new private-label offering, Get Real, which includes a selection of minimally processed fresh dog food products.

Made with 10 ingredients or fewer, the line is now available in flavors such as chicken & Brussels sprouts, beef & sweet potato, and turkey & cranberry. Each is available as a full meal or a meal topper.

"We are proud to offer Get Real, making fresh food easy for pet parents and delicious for pets," said Orlena Yeung, chief brand officer at Chewy. "Backed by our signature customer care, we are excited for dogs across the country to enjoy this new premium offering."

According to the retailer, consumer demand for fresh dog food is at an all-time high, and the fresh segment's growth is outpacing all other companion pet food categories. Chewy has integrated Get Real into its existing operations and has made it easy for customers by delivering straightforward solutions.

  • Expert-created healthy recipes: Created by certified pet nutritionists, Get Real features human-grade recipes with real meat, fruit, and vegetables. The food is gently cooked to retain nutrients and then frozen to lock in freshness.
  • Mealtimes made easy: Ready-to-serve, pre-portioned meals are delivered to your door; just thaw and serve. A variety of recipes are created for easy rotation without upsetting stomachs, which will keep pets excited.
  • Convenience: Customizable plans make it simple to adjust delivery frequency and accommodate freezer space.

24/7 customer care: Pet parents can count on Chewy's award-winning customer care team with dedicated experts ready to support and answer any questions.

Get Real is tailored to a variety of dogs' unique needs, considering their weight, breed, age, and activity level to provide the recommended ideal feeding amount for each meal. The recipes are also formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) and are suitable for all life stages, from puppy to senior and even nursing or pregnant dogs.
