Personal care products company Carewell has launched its first private label product that is focused on providing a solution to those living with incontinence.

The Carewell Incontinence Underwear, Heavy & Overnight Absorbency is absorbent underwear that, according to the company, hold 8 cups of liquid for up to 12 hours. The pull on product offers a discreet design with non-bunching side seams said to be less visible under everyday clothing.

The undergarment’s absorbent core features a 3-core channel in sizes S/M-XL, and a dual-core channel in size XXL, locking away wetness in seconds. The underwear is hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested for sensitive skin and its pH neutralizing lining neutralizes acidic urine, reducing the risk of skin irritation or rash.

Manufactured in the United States, company officials said the product is designed for those experiencing moderate to heavy incontinence symptoms and can be used overnight or during the daytime as needed.

In a post on the company’s website, Kevin Kennedy, Carewell’s vice president of Product Development said of the new product, “We heard from many customers that they wanted incontinence underwear that offered protection against their heaviest symptoms, but that wasn’t bulky, itchy or uncomfortable. We’re really proud and excited about this new product.”
