Travelers along the East Coast will have an opportunity to visit two new Buc-ee’s locations as the company opens stores in Virginia and Georgia.

On June 30, the retailer will open a new travel center in Rockingham County, Virginia. Located at Friedens Church Road and Interstate 81 in Mount Crawford in the central portion of the state, the 74,000-square-foot store will feature 120 fueling positions and include Texas barbecue, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky, and fresh pastries.

"One of the prettiest roads we could ever hope for, I-81 is full of folks coming and going for fun stuff. We are the perfect fun store for their road trips, and the people of Rockingham County are fun too," said Stan Beard, director of Real Estate and Development at Buc-ee's.

The following day, Buc-ee’s will welcome its new Brunswick, Georgia, store. Located in the southeastern corner of the state at 7156 Highway 99/I-95 and State Highway 99, the 74,000-square-foot store will offer 120 fueling positions and Buc-ee’s favorites including Texas barbecue, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky and fresh pastries.

"Brunswick is a natural stop between our Florida and South Carolina locations; on a stretch of interstate near the beautiful Georgia coastline,” said Beard. “The community has welcomed us with open arms, and we are excited to finally get started here.”

After the opening of Buc-ee's Brunswick, the retailer will operate 54 stores. Since beginning its multi-state expansion in 2019, Buc-ee's has opened travel centers in Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Colorado, Mississippi and Virginia. Brunswick will be Buc-ee's third location in Georgia.
