Antioxidants extracts for meat, poultry
Des Moines, Ia.-based Kemin Industries, which provides shelf-life extension and food safety solutions, recently released a new video called “Antioxidants in Action” that animates the oxidation process as Kemin experts discuss why meat and poultry products lose their color and flavor. Several of Kemin’s ingredient solutions are featured, including Fortium A acerola extracts, designed for maximum effectiveness against color degradation; Fortium R rosemary extracts for maximum color and flavor protection; and Fortium RGT, a combination of rosemary and green tea extracts that complement each other by guarding against antioxidants without impacting flavor, color and odor profiles.
