Amazon further expands into private label food
Amazon is now making its own private brand milk to sell to its customers.
According to The Takeout, the Seattle-based retailer is now offering up milk, whipped cream, half-and-half and lactose-free products under its Happy Belly brand.
Amazon’s Happy Belly brand already consisted of snack-like products, such as nuts. The company already has an expansive assortment of private brand grocery items.
Amazon also announced this week that it has launched Amazon Moments, the company’s new loyalty initiative designed for vendors.
