Just in time for Veganuary — the annual go-vegan challenge for the month of January that began in the United Kingdom —  Aldi UK shoppers looking to test out the vegan lifestyle will have the retailer’s largest assortment of vegan products to try.

The retailer said polls that came out last year suggested that 72% of those who tried the challenge wanted to stay vegan so Aldi UK aimed to expand its range and now carries more than 25 vegan products for every meal time.

The newest launch is a line of vegan ice creams. There’s salted caramel, chocolate brownie and peanut butter flavors under the Gianni’s brand, a Plant Menu brand vegan vanilla ice cream, and new Vegan Chocosticks for shoppers not looking for a full tub of ice cream.

The desserts join breakfast, lunch and dinner items such as the Plant Menu brand of vegan yogurts and power bowls for lunch like a Moroccon tagine bowl with sweet potato falafels, kale, quinoa, brown rice, green lentils, and topped with a tagine dressing, cranberries and pumpkin seeds.

There’s also new Plant Menu Veggie Dippers, a twist on the golden dipper, each made with a blend of peppers, arborio rice, garlic and onions, coated in a crunchy and crisp golden crumb.

Dinners feature a Specially Selected No Beef Borguignon, Plant Menu No Chicken Kiev, Specially Selected Vegan Rainbow Pie, a tomato and chilli shortcrust pastry, filed with rainbow vegetables in a spiced tomato and harissa sauce, and many more items.

The newest vegan items will be placed on shelves between Jan. 2 and mid-January. See the full list of items here.
