Aldi Recalls Taquitos Sold In 31 States

Concerns over foreign matter inside the product triggered the warning.

Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos made by Bestway Sandwiches were sold in Aldi stores in 31 states.

Aldi has recalled Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos over concerns of possible foreign material (metal) inside the product.

Produced by Bestway Sandwiches Inc., of Valencia, Calif, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foods Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said the recall was initiated after the company received a consumer complaint reporting that a piece of metal was found in the product. Another consumer reported to FSIS a dental injury from the product.

There have been no additional reports of injury or illness due to consumption of this product. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider, FSIS said.

The 20-oz. carton packages containing “CASA MAMITA CHICKEN & CHEESE TAQUITOS,” have Best By Dates 07/03/25 and 09/25/25 on the bottom panel. The product bears the establishment number “EST. P-40327” on the carton package. 

These items were shipped to Aldi stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Washington DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
