Aldi is growing its footprint in Massachusetts with the opening of a new store in the community of Gardner.

Located at 360 Timpany Blvd., the new store celebrated its grand opening on April 4. As part of the celebration, the first 100 customers at the store received an Aldi gift card as part of the grocer’s Golden Ticket giveaway program. Shoppers during the opening weekend celebration are also eligible to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Chris Daniels, South Windsor vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Gardner and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
