On March 21, Aldi opened new stores in Michigan and Georgia.

Aldi’s on-going effort to expand its footprint across the lower 48 continued recently with new store openings in Cedar Springs, Mich.; and Tifton, Ga. Both locations celebrated their respective grand opening on March 21.

The Cedar Springs store is located at 14050 Edgerton Ave. while the Tifton location calls 1805 West U.S. Highway 82 home.

At both stores, the first 100 customers received a gift bag filled with a sampling of Aldi Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the Aldi Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers were also able to enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card. Both stores will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier,” said Ryan Fritsch, Webberville vice president for Aldi. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Cedar Springs and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”

Shaun O’Keefe, Jefferson vice president for Aldi, noted the Tifton store is the first Aldi location in that community.
