Aldi To Give Away Giant Reusable Bags

Aldi is upsizing its promotional efforts with a Sept. 16 giveaway of its Aldi Big Bag, a reusable shopping bag designed to remind consumers of the cost savings offered by the grocer.

In announcing the giveaway to the 1.2 million Instagram followers of the AldiUSA account, the company wrote, “Because bigger savings mean bigger hauls, and bigger hauls mean you’re gonna need a bigger bag.”

Company officials said the oversized bag is designed to be a metaphor for the savings Aldi offers shoppers. Citing its 2025 Aldi Price Leadership Report, the grocer claims shoppers can save $321 per month when shopping at Aldi.
