Aldi continues its store growth with new stores in Pennsylvania and Alabama.
Pennsylvania and Alabama are welcoming new Aldi stores to communities in each state as the grocer’s expansion efforts continue.
Shoppers to the east of Pittsburgh in the community of Wilkinsburg are now able to shop at their new Aldi store at 401 Penn Ave. In Pinson, Ala., shoppers now have access to a newly converted store at 4701 Pinson Blvd. Both locations celebrated their respective grand openings on January 30 and each will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
"As shoppers look for ways to stretch their dollars further, our new Aldi store will deliver the Pinson community affordable, quality groceries, a quick, easy shopping experience, shelves stocked with only the best products and on-trend Aldi Finds," said Karla Waddleton, Mount Juliet vice president for Aldi. "The new store brings us one step closer to our goal to add 800 stores nationwide by the end of 2028 in response to customer demand for Aldi stores in their communities."
The new Aldi stores are open in time for the Super Bowl on February 9 in New Orleans, giving shoppers access to the grocer’s recent price cuts on a host of products for game day meals
As part of its “Get a Quarterback” campaign, the grocer is offering up to 25% off a selection of products that include wings, spinach dip, and pizza. Additionally, Aldi is partnering with former New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees and his wife Brittany to show shoppers how they can enhance game day and beyond with great food.
